History Of The Parlor Room

Built in 1907 for Josh and Emma Wallace, the beautiful Greek Revival home, conveniently located 2 blocks from downtown main street, features a beautiful carriage house behind the home. Wallace was a great business man and the home reflected that. He owned and operated Josh Wallace Clothing company and was deeply involved in the Winfield community and his church which still stands across street from the home. The current owners and operators of The Parlor Room, Luke and Nichole Kunkel, are only the 4th owners of this home since it was built.
